Amazon Prime Day vs. Black Friday Sales

Why should I shop on Amazon Prime Day? Doesn’t Black Friday have better sales?

Prime Day vs Black Friday

Well, according to BestBlackFriday.com, 76% of the deals on Prime Day 2017 were better than that on Black Friday. This compares to 77% of the deals in 2016, and 64% in 2015.

The star of the show here would be Amazon’s own line of products. Along with heavy promotions of Amazon devices last year, Amazon says that these deals will be doubled, making Amazon Prime Day 2018 one of the biggest shopping days in Amazon’s history.

Amazon Prime Day Tips and Hacks

1. Price and Review Trackers

Use tools such as CamelCamelCamel to track the price history of Amazon products. It allows you to spot fake deals from true price drops, and ensure that you won’t get scammed.

Another great tool is Fakespot.com which helps to determine whether Amazon user reviews for a particular product are real or fake.

2. RateX Payment Gateway

You can also use our RateX browser extension to save even more money! 3. Use your laptop

Sit down, get cosy and grab your coffee and lappy. Using a laptop instead of a mobile phone allows the Amazon platform to move faster which lets you easily compare prices.

4. Buy only what you need

A great method is to prepare a list of items that you want to buy, before ogling at the screen at all the amazing price drops. Most importantly, try to stick to that list. A good deal isn’t a good deal if it was for something that you would not have bought in the first place.
