1. Night at the library (Free!)

There have been unexplained happenings at the library. What lurks behind the bookshelves after dark? Beware, for what’s familiar and mundane might just surprise you.

2. Asian Civilisation Museum (ACM) After Dark 2018: The Elements (Free!)

ACM’s annual Halloween event is back! Be spooked by thrilling performances, a movie screening, paranormal talks, and fiery activities on this free family-friendly evening. Hear haunting tales by the river and make a souvenir to bring home. Unravel your special element in our spooky trail. Mystery prizes await the 3 best-dressed ghostly visitors!  Comes dressed as in your best Halloween costumes and you may just win one of the three mystery prizes!

3. Yokai Festival Halloween Town (Free!)

Looking for a unique Halloween experience? Dress up and join the Yokai Parade in Downtown East. Take part in a game of tag at Wild Wild Wet in a match between yokai (demons) and humans, race against time to complete missions in Jewel of The Town or watch an outdoor screening of My Neighbour Totoro. Shop for treats at the Underworld Market or snag a Last Minute Costume on 20th and 21st October. Look forward to performances, meet the Yin Yang Shi, take part in a lucky dip, free mask-painting, and photo-op stations with Yokai performers. 4. Halloween Fun Fest (Free!)

Dress up in your best costumes and head to Halloween Fun Fest at UE Square Shopping Mall for its inaugural Halloween Fun Fest! Enjoy delicious food, drinks and live music while the little ones stay entertained with the bouncy candy house (great for kids aged three to ten) and fun craft activities (2pm to 6pm, free of charge) including balloon sculpting, crafts and face painting.
